Boston Health Care Fellowship Director

Hello,

I'm excited to welcome you to Boston Healthcare Fellowship! My name is Andrew Fassett, and I am the Director of this ministry. Healthcare can be a busy and exhausting field to work in. The demands it makes on you as a person can be so great that it can cause you to forget the original reason you got into the field or distract you from ever finding deeper meaning in the work you do. BHF strives to help you perceive your work, faith, and life holistically and to grow in faith despite the other pressures on you. This a task that I cannot and am not trying to accomplish alone. I gratefully partner with fellow Christians who are seeking to build one another up in faith and be witnesses to those who do not yet know who God is and what He has done. I hope you consider joining in with us or stopping by to find out more! Please feel free to get in touch with me to set up a meeting or simply shoot me an email if you have any questions at boston@healthcarefellowship.org. God Bless!

A little about myself; I grew up in Upstate New York - near Albany. I studied Mechanical Engineering at R.P.I. and then served seven years as a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps, where I spent time in Virginia, North Carolina, Okinawa, Japan, California, Afghanistan, Guam, and other places. I am thankful for the leadership, life, and spiritual growth experiences that God provided me during my time in the service. However, I left the Marine Corps because it was time to answer God's call to ministry that I first felt back in college. So I came to Boston in August of 2016 to pursue my Master of Divinity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I am currently studying full-time while I work as the BHF Director. I'm thankful for the opportunity to encourage people in the faith while continuing my own studies.
