There is a such thing as a free meal
We want to creates spaces for healthcare professionals and trainees to (1) create meaningful relationships with others in their field and (2) dialogue about how faith in Jesus relates to the practice of healthcare. To that end we host a dinner, discussion, and fellowship gathering on the third Friday of every month.
Meetings are usually at Harvard Medical School, JBM Lounge in Vanderbilt Hall, from 6:30-8:30pm, unless otherwise indicated. Childcare is provided and RSVP is appreciated (see below). Here are our upcoming meetings and speakers:
October 20: Janice Bell Meisenhelder, D.N.Sc., R.N. (Professor of Nursing, Emmanuel College) Dr. Meisenhelder will be sharing about how to work through grief and loss, both personally and professionally with a Christian perspective. Her talk will address an issue that we will all face in this life and often without time to prepare for it. Hopefully you can join us so you can better navigate this tremendous challenge when it comes.
November 10 (not the 3rd Friday): In progress, research focused case study and panel discussion.

January 19: Tyler VanderWeele - Ph.D., is Professor of Epidemiology in the Departments of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Co-Director of the Initiative on Health, Religion and Spirituality, faculty affiliate of the Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science, and Director of the Program on Integrative Knowledge and Human Flourishing at Harvard University. He will be sharing about his research and journey as a Christian in healthcare.
