Please join us for a meal.

 

We want to creates spaces for healthcare professionals and trainees to (1) create meaningful relationships with others in their field and (2) dialogue about how faith in Jesus relates to the practice of healthcare. To that end we host a dinner and discussion on the third Friday of every month.

Meetings are usually at Harvard Medical School, JBM Lounge in Vanderbilt Hall, from 6:30-8:30pm, unless otherwise indicated. Childcare is provided and RSVP is appreciated (see below). Here are our upcoming meetings and speakers: 

July 20: John Kempen, M.D., MPH, Ph.D., M.H.S.. Massachusetts Eye and Ear Director of Epidemiology for Ophthalmology,
Senior Scientist, and Ethiopian Missionary. He will be sharing about his life, being an academic ophthalmologist at Harvard and being a missionary in Ethiopia at the same time. 

August 17: Welcome Mixer. 

September 21: TBD or Women's Panel: The purpose of this panel will be to help provide a space to share about the challenges Christian women face in the medical field. In the era of #MeToo, we want to develop a better understanding of the difficulties unique to women for both the men and women who are a part of our community. 

October 19-20: Whole Person Care Conference opening night - free for everyone. Register to be able to attend the Saturday training and practical application.
